and for my daughter’s next trick…
Last night Viv stayed over and after she was done having a couple meltdowns (she skipped her nap), we had a good time watching Curious George and playing with my son’s tonka trucks while he wasn’t there. She got up once during the night and I brought her down to sleep next to me. She woke up and whispered to me to sing “Daddy sing da Sunshine song” (that’s You are my sunshine).
In other Viv news, I got a call mid-morning from Dana explaining that Viv swallowed a bouncy ball. She’s fine, but she’s being taken to the ER. We’re a little concerned how that ball is going to make it’s exit.

the exit?

[UPDATE : turns out it wasn't a bouncy ball, it was a metal ball from a Magnetix set, which actually was listed in my posted a links in an article of most dangerous toys - she'll be fine]
Last night I fixed the header link issue with the blog, added some footer to the music and home page, fixed a Wheelies contest form problem, and got the Kuma redesign CSS fixed.

I’m trying to think of an appropriate song to sing Viv about the bouncy ball. I hope that comes out alright.

Geez … that Indiana Jones image you chose is just cracking me up. I hope everything works its way out in the end.

yeah, surprisingly there do not seem to be many songs dedicated to passing a bouncy ball, you could be a pioneer here!

I can’t take 100% credit for that Indiana Jones image, my buddy Bill emailed that to me after I told him this morning about the ball ingestion…he’s also the owner of Rusty, the little dog in the videos with Viv I’ve posted in the past
