sleepover, flash, and another ride

My son stayed over last night and was a very good boy for me. We watched some TV and had dinner together, played tonka trucks, read a whole mess of books, and then hit the hay on time. Dana made a crock pot of chicken and potatoes that her and Viv couldn’t eat by themselves so she nicely sent some over to my Mom and Dad’s.

I got some of the divs rewritten for the Kuma redsign redone with scrollable dynamic text in flash. I need to figure out if I can do a draggable scrollbar or talk them into not wanting one. The whole reason for doing this instead of the CSS route is because scroll bars are not supported across all browsers and they want fancy scrollbars. I also need to look into opacity for divs…that should be a blast supporting across Safari, IE, FF, and Opera on both Mac and PC.

I woke up early this morning and did an abbreviated version of the Tour of Homes Ride, cutting off the Indian Mills leg of the trip. Still makes it around 6 miles and it was a nice morning to be out on a bike for sure.

The incompatibility across browsers is one of the most irritating things I can think of.

Yeesh, that sounds like a pain. I hate those non-draggable scrollbars, though. I haven’t done any Flash at all, I generally dislike it, but I was thinking of some stuff last night that’d be cool if done in Flash.

I wish it wasn’t so hard for me to get up in the morning. A ride before work would be awesome. I’ve considered trying riding to work once the weather gets better, we’ll see.
