attacking ben franklin

I had a good call with a person from the Battleship New Jersey yesterday, I’m waiting for their requirements and then I’ll put together a proposal for what they need done for their site. They like that I have experience working with non-profits, I’m local, I enjoyed my own visit with the kids, and that I like water too.

here’s when we attacked the Ben Franklin Bridge, it totally had it coming…

I think tonight will be a daddy-daughter night, which I’m really looking forward to – maybe we’ll make a song together tonight, a follow-up single to Jumpin on the Bed. Saturday should be fun, my Aunt Cis is coming over. She’s an incredible cook and usually spends the day cooking up a bunch of stuff. Van and Viv are really excited she’s coming to stay over (we’ll see who gets to share the bed with her). They really love their Aunt Cissy. Saturday night, my friends Chris and Doug are heading over to watch the Eagles game (and maybe B-Sam too if he’s free).

Bubba stayed over last night and after some tonka truck time, tubby, and lots of stories he hit the hay. I read a chapter in The Purpose-driven Life and a chapter of Raising Your Spirited Child, as I listened to Flyers lose yet again. I fixed a problem with the .NET online store project. I folded a load of laundry. At some point I went to sleep.

I feel great this morning, I did a quick 5 miles on the bike in the cold (kind of weather that reminds you men have nipples too), exercised my achin’ shoulder, and got Bubba to school.

Hey, how cool is this? My buddy Vodkafish’s site Hockeyfights.com got a sweet ass plug on Sportsnet…now, it’s a sweet plug, not any sort of ass plug…oh, you probably knew that. Oh crabadonk.

I didn’t dislocate my shoulder, but mine is killing me too. I don’t know what is up. It hurts for a couple days, then feels better, then repeats the cycle again. I might have to go see a doctor about this. Yuck!

I love getting to spend time with one kid at a time. It doesn’t happen as often as I would like, but it is nice when it does. Have a great time!

Holy crap. I’ve been just barely making it through the work day, and being a complete vegetable at night, and you’re all over the map. I need to get my head out of the sand.

I’m really looking forward to a new song. You should definitely do that!

tori – i think it’s just the cold weather making it act up again. one piece of advice i got from a buddy that also dislocated a shoulder playing softball was to NEVER stop exercising it.

apertome – i really want to get the new audio converter for the mac so I can start recording some SGC stuff again.

How cool to see the Ben Franklin Bridge again! The skyline is so different to me now, I’m not sure what I looking at in that picture. Go Eagles!

One-on-one time with the kiddos is awesome. Hard to find when there’s more than one, so enjoy…

How is it that I’m from NJ and I’ve never heard of Battleship NJ? Learn something new everyday I suppose:)

Hmmm, back when I lived there, there were spots in Center City Philly that would have had it coming, too. Maybe things have changed for the better by now. ;)
