no barf = good day

On the way home, I stopped at the DMV to drop off the plates for the minivan, picked up my books on hold at the library (including the 85 minutes worth of shut my kids up…I mean DVD – Lilo and Stitch), and then stopped at the grocery store for a few things. Dana appears to be starting to feel better and Viv didn’t barf on anything, so I’d say it was a good day…

After everyone went to bed I put the legalhelpin24hrs.com site up on the new host, put the Pyrexia merchandise up on their MySpace page, and worked on the Nitro data issues. I’m really getting tired, I need some sleep tonight big time.

Here’s something interesting, the highly snooty music critic site RedFizz (which is apparently so snooty, it’s down right now), has allowed my latest tune Threatmantic onto the Second Stage. If it actually gets featured, that will be the first song they’ve allowed up there. [update - it's up now...check it out]

That Chi-Tonw thing was hysterical! That is exactly why I am fearful of getting any more tattoos…if they mess up, it is there forever!

  2.  tori Says:

Oh, glad both Dana and Viv are feeling better too! What is your superhuman secret for not catching any of this?

  3.  furiousBall Says:

tori – I don’t know really. I never missed a day in high school somehow, I get sick once in a while, but when I do it’s real, real sick. It could be that I’m just an American Bad Ass like Kid Rock

I was sorry to read about Vonnegut, too. At least I had the opportunity to hear him speak a few years ago.

Wow, was yesterday the first day Viv hasn’t barfed in, like, 3 weeks?!?

  5.  furiousBall Says:

Chris – nah, she’s was ok there while everyone else is sick, but my wife has had a migraine or been sick for about those 3 weeks. Right now, I’m working from home and the kids are going apeshit, because they’re feeling better. I need to keep a dart gun around with darts tipped with stomach bugs and other virii to knock them down a notch…well, no, but yes

Memories of the NJ DMV are too painful to think about. Glad everyone is starting to feel a little better.

You’re right… no barf = good day. Hope it lasts and the migraine clears up soon, too.

Chi-Tonw??? That’s frickin’ rad…I’d be proud of that one.

Glad that the family is on the mends. Will’s sleeping, so I’ll head on over later and listen to the tune.

    Chi-Tonw? That’s hilarious.

I was sad to hear about Kurt. A fine writer, indeed.

  10.  Sarah Says:

Wow, you can tell it’s all relative when “Sweet, no one barfed in my bed!” turns it into a good day …

Oh, get some sleep, Van. You deserve it.

  11.  Dorky Dad Says:

HEY! Congratulations on your barfless day! You should remember this one.

And don’t get me started on the DMV. (shudder)

  12.  V-Grrrl Says:

Congrats on getting Threatmantic recognized. I hope it goes all the way!

corky – DMV is latin for “drive me insane”

velvet – we’re good so far, cross things

    Kevin – groovy, thanks!

mamatulip – I wouldn’t kick him off the typewriter for crumbs

Sarah – I sleep like a log, a very sleepy log dreaming of crappy code

Dorky Dad – I think I’ll call this VB Day (Victory Over Barf Day)

V-Grrrl – I love it when it goes all the way…ba dum dum ching
