Not sure which shot I adore more, your toothless daughter gazing over her shoulder or your son, hands on his hips, glaring at you through the lens. Thanks for sharing. So sorry about your dad.
What a lovely park! I looks like a fabulous time. I’ll tell you though, the last photo of Vivi with her cast and no teeth… I have a lump in my throat for her dragon valor. Thanks for sharing your precious time with them.
it looks like there were some nice quiet spots to enjoy your kids alone. i think that’s just what the doctor ordered. LOVE the picture of your boy on the swing. all of them are good but that one grabs me. the glaring look in the other one makes me giggle. and the toothless grin….well, it’s just utterly endearing.
Sorry the kids are going today. I am very grateful they were here during this time. Let me know if you need anything. You can call any hour etc., truly. Many hugs your way, V.
In spite of his tragic demise, your father would have been proud of you Van: making sure that your children are enjoying what looks like a very joyous weekend.

your son is at that heartbreak age..
you see the very beginnings of the awkwardness of puberty..just brief glimpses through the little boy face..
they’re so vulnerable..
I have a weakness for boys..
girls always seem strong and capable..
but boys are so delicate and sensitive.
maybe it’s just because i have sons

I had a dream last night that I had a pet duck. A baby. It ate all my chips and slept in a bucket. I wonder what that means??
