i know it’s gonna get rough tomorrow. i wish i could give you a non-ass -pinching hug. on the other hand, for YOU, i would think that maybe the ass-pinch would help uplift you. so maybe the ass-pinching would be appropriate.
that grasshopper picture is defintiely a very cool one. i have taken so many bug pictures over the years because my boy LOVED to catch them. i wish i had thought of using that perspective!
just catching up so your reflections on marriage a few posts down…let me know if yo ucome up with any good answers. i’ve been married almost 20 years and i still don’t have them.
Another great day in paradise. I swear, the Medford City Commerce board should pay you. I’m glad to see Bubs unwind this summer. It’s been great to watch. I’m delighted that you get some time alone with him too! YAY. Well done, Van.
Hi just found your blog, love your pictures. The dog in the water reminded me so much of my Golden Retriever, that I had for an amazing 17 years before she passed away. She was the best dog I ever had.
Christian Sex Toys. I’m wondering if it would be appropriate to send this to my Mormon missionary friends…probably not.
A dragonfly: wow, they’re almost extinct in this overcrowded part of the world.
I’d seen the aerial and street-level shots on Google earth, but I’m still impressed noticing how much natural beauty is right outside your door Van. We have to drive quite some distance towards France to reach an area resembling your home town.

Cool pictures – and a very cool grasshopper. That’s different from the thousands of others I’ve seen.

I saw a labrador pup for sale in a pet shop today.
Gert looked like he’d swallowed that dragonfly you photographed
Seeing Yogi doing his Yogi-in-the-water thing makes me want a labrador friend again … sigh.
Nice photos, Van.

What a good sharer you are. I wish my photographs were as sharp as that. Summer is so short these days.
Best wishes
