couch parker

I got everything done that I wanted to this weekend. I got the projects around the house done that I wanted to – cord of firewood stacked, retouched up the front and back decks, tarred the roof exhausts, fixed Mom’s doorbell, pulled down the stucco wallpaper crap on my son’s ceiling, and got a 3 mile run in this afternoon. I am parked on the couch until further notice.

    you do more in your free time than most of us do in, like, a week. I am ashamed.

    that twitter proposal sounds a lot like how I ended up married… it was a rather casual proposal, and I believe my answer was “yeah, I reckon”. I wonder what *she* said?

    it’s virtually a carbon copy of what my SO looked like after
    I asked him to wash the dishes (two of them) by hand ;-)

    (well, given the price of power these days we’re economizing,
    and yes, my SO still believes household work means just
