1930s German Vampire films are like milk and cookies to me
I watched the disappointing Phils game last night. Jamie Moyer really wasn’t on and actually if you threw out that bad first inning, the game wasn’t the blow out it felt like. I just hope we didn’t wear out our bullpen. Oh and by the way, the Dodgers are a bunch of bitches. They are moaning and complaining about one guy getting hit by a Jamie Moyer 78 MPH curve on the knee? Sissies. During the bench clearing non-brawl, I loved how Manny made no move until he had teammates around him to drag him away. I say next game, we plunk Manny and then throw at him again on first base.
On the good side of sports, the Eagles rebounded with a win against the 49ers while other NFC East teams lost (Cowboys somehow lost to the Cardinals and the Skins dropped one against the Rams). Correll Buckhalter looked excellent in for an injured Brian Westbrook, Hank Baskett (famous for tappin’ some bunny ass – Kendra from The Girls Next Door) had some clutch catches, and Juqua Parker had a HUGE game on the defensive side of the ball (1 Sack, 1 INT for a TD).
I had trouble sleeping last night again, I woke up and my lower back was still a little sore (from the firewood stacking). I took some Advil and turned on Vampyr (1930s German Vampire films are like milk and cookies to me) and got back to sleep after a while. I need to stay tough on myself with the PT and yoga and stave off another layoff with a bad back.
Take this as a warning
To stay away from me
Because the man that you used to know
Is not the man that you’re going to see
Someday we may laugh at this
Someday we may be friends
But for now you can keep your distance
Stay away till the pieces mendThis sudden loneliness has made me dangerous
Please don’t watch me while I fall apart
‘Cause I’m sad and I’m angry
And armed with a broken heartAnd what will get me through the night
Is what I’ll use with all my might
And to some peace I have a right
But I pay so dearlyAnd at my age I should be wise
Now I’m untying all those ties
The evidence is in the eyes
That should see so clearly
I once saw so clearlyYou know I will say anything
If it will keep you away
But I don’t know what I would do
If you said you were gonna stay
Don’t do me any favors
Don’t try to ease the pain
Won’t you please let me hate you now
So I won’t fall for you again

The thing about Manny is he’s always vastly entertaining. I’m glad he’s not playing for us anymore, but I kinda miss seeing him on a regular basis. Heh. Sounds like I’m describing my ex.

I was soooo hoping that either Pat Burrell or Ryan Howard would’ve clocked him.

I really wanted Manny to be thrown out of the game, I think it would have turned the game around for the Phils. It was nice to see Howard hitting again, I hope it keeps up. Moyer looked defeated after his first 4 pitches…oh yeah…he was!

Manny is the Chad Ocho Cinco of MLB. What a moron. I think we need to hire Tanya Harding.
As for the NFL, I crushed in my fantasy league but was depressed by the Cowboys loss after struggling back. Me – I blame Pacman Jones. Some people become criminals, others have criminality thrust upon them … and some are just destined to be thugs. Jones is in the last group — they need to toss his ass to the curb.

Lol. Sissies. You are right. I just read about Vampyr, do you reccomend it?

Kerry – oh he definitely is entertaining.
Catizhere – i’d have no problem as long as they punched his head clean off
Carolyn – yeah, poor ol’ Grandpappy Moyer just didn’t have it last night and I agree, I knew it after a few pitches too
Marty – I don’t understand how Pac Man gets so many chances, it only fuels my Cowgirls hatred ever moreso
Christy – so far it’s cool, but just remember it’s filmed in the 30s – which in some ways makes it scarier, but some of the make-up and special effects are just silly.

You gotta stop posting lyrics like that.

Kerry – it was between that and “Crazy Bitch” by Buckcherry, but I thought the passage… “Hey, You’re a crazy bitch, But you fuck so good, I’m on top of it, When I dream, I’m doing you all night, Scratches all down my back to keep me right on” was a little too close to Shakespeare’s Sonnet 130

I’m not sure I see the problem there.

Kerry – you’re right, I should have gone with Buckcherry – my bad

Be careful with your back. It’s good to be all productive, but you need to take a rest and be good to yourself too.

Yes, Tinky-Winky. Shake that ass, and your back will feel better.
If not, the Noo-Noon will come use his hose on you.

Who knew I should be checking in here for my sports round ups? To hell with ESPN!
(I adore the original “Nosferatu” — now I want to watch it with milk and cookies… that just doesn’t seem right.)
