a walk in the village
I took a rainy walk down Main Street in Medford Village this morning and snapped some pictures… I was hoping to get more shots of the scarecrows for the kiddos, but many were taken down because of the impending showers coming tonight (which has also rescheduled the Halloween Parade until tomorrow night)…
I recorded vids of me playing Laid by James and Sex is on Fire by Kings of Leon for my guitar student and buddy, Jan.

I was pleasantly surprised by your shots from Main Street in Medford Village: it actually looks like cozy small town America, yet so close to a major city. I’d seen Medford on MSFT street view, but it feels like a place I’d love to live in – the area is just stunningly beautiful.
SO: “He’s so focused while he plays”. Me: “well, he’s a musician who released CDs, what did you expect to see? “. SO (going totally off-topic): “Well, he looks like the kind of guy I’d drink a beer with”
Me (closing a conversation that’s going nowhere): “Sure, even musicians like beer”

Exactly what a town ‘village’ should look like during the fall. It makes me want to have apple cider and wear a wool cap…except that it was almost 70 today.
In all of your guitar clips that I have seen, you finish with a little smirk that says “there you have it folks, next show at 8.” Good good music.

The scarecrows are very cool! Love that ultra-pointy tower and the iron roses, too.

I spent yesterday walking around Philly…I should have taken pictures. Your pics of Medford are wonderful, it really is a quaint little town. Especially now that the smell of the forest fire has dissipated…

Those photos make me homesick for the little town where my son and I lived before my life blew up.

what great pics– one reason small towns are awesome. of course I had to check out franki’s blog- nice penis.
you can come visit me anytime and play guitar for me to fall asleep to ( and by that, I do not mean that your music is boring).
