I had three really good guitar lessons last night. Carolyn is in the throes of the exquisite pain of barre chords and handling it well. My five year old buddy, CJ had a fun lesson and we did Higher Ground (RHCP version). Jan really nailed the two songs (videos below) and after wards helped me drink some of my Spanish reds (Red Guitar and Borsao). Doug arrived later and drank green tea in a bottle, because he’s out of control.
Jan pointed out that a friend of hers refers to Borsao as “the penis wine” because of an apparent penis on the label. Let’s examine…
Well…I see what she’s talking about, but if they really wanted to put a dick on the bottle, why not be more overt? Like so…

My son’s man made “pulmonary artery” ~ made out of cadaver tissue, looks like he has a peenie on the front of his heart…
when the heart surgeon drew it for us…
I couldn’t stop giggling as he was seriously trying to explain it.

lu – barre chords are tough, but once you’ve got them mastered, you will have the most powerful hands ever…. that is as long as you don’t develop tendinitis before hand
