Handfart Name that Tune
I have taught two guitar lessons this afternoon and then spent the remainder of the afternoon chasing down a circuit breaker at various hardware stores. Turns out my house is old (surprise!) and the electrical supply stores that actually carry this particular circuit breaker close at noon, ergo this repair will have to wait until I return from Quebec City on Friday. Crap. Luckily the 30 amp circuit doesn’t have anything crucial on it (like the fridge or heat for the home), but I just hate leaving town with it unfinished. Crappity crap crap.
and then I knock down my buddy jenijen down a notch from her nun good deedery…

If you didn’t see this already… here’s Handfart Name that Tune…
And here’s Abbe trying to say “millagramage” 3 times fast as she was dared by Knight…
Movie reviews…
The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons – what an incredible film. The sweeping epic nature following a man with an illness reminded me slightly of Forrest Gump, but to me, the direction and acting in this film far surpasses Gump. Brad Pitt is becoming a respected actor not by coincidence, as he has chosen better and better roles (i.e. – The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford).
Frost/Nixon – this film has the best acting I have seen in a film since No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood. Frank Langella plays Nixon incredibly well, capturing the smart, but gruff man the former president was by most accounts. Michael Sheen really did a nice job of portraying David Frost as the contemptable/likeable talk show host turned reporter.

I am extremely jealous that you can hand fart. My son has been trying to teach me and I just can’t seem to get it.
Abbe is adorable (as always)!

The Bush-Obama morph is disquieting. Their facial geometry is quite similar, which I hadn’t realized. I’m not going to think about it.
