Well, not to sound like a broken record, but I’ve got more good news to report about Bubs – he got a perfect score on his spelling test yesterday. He was so proud of himself when I picked him up yesterday, especially after we had studied so hard the night before. To celebrate, Bubs and I hit the trails on our bikes and even stopped to look at a lake for a few minutes before returning home. Me and Bubs on a bike ride last night… (yes, Jocelyn, Chris, and Dorky Dad – that’s a Wild jersey I’m proudly donning)…

Kyle had a great guitar lesson last night. I love it when my students practice! I gave him another rite of passage song, Back in Black (video of me playing this coming soon – where is my Angus Young school boy outfit?). After the guitar lesson, I came outside and found Abbe and Bubs in the playfort…

Meanwhile, Viv was with my Mom over at my sister’s place apparently starting her new career as a rapper…

We read Are You Ready to Play Outside? and Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed, two great new Mo Willems books.I am not ashamed to tell you that I was on the waiting list at the library for Are You Ready to Play Outside?… we’re big fans of Mo.

Your son is such a cutie pie! Don’t feel bad about bragging about him, he deserves it. He looks so much like you in that picture. It surprised me because I don’t remember seeing it so clearly before.

Your daughter is adorable! Is that your mom in the picture? I just put in my eye drops so if it isn’t, forgive me. They look like they are having so much fun!

I’m with Tori, I’d never noticed the resemblance before either. Maybe because you had massive amounts of hair on your face? Congrats to the little guy, he’s doing great!
