penciling in the missing words
Whilst reading Thus Spake Zarathustra this morning, I found this faded portion of the text where another reader at some time penciled in the missing words…
And here is Viv reading Are You Ready to Play Outside?…
- Richard Simmons on Whose Line is it Anyway? – thanks Guy
- When Playgrounds Go Wrong – thanks Chris… so.damn.wrong.

It’s funny you should blog about that book, I just mentioned it to one of the teens at work on Thursday. We were sharing our favorite quotes and one of mine is a Nietzsche quote:
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
I’ve started Thus Spake Zarathustra at least twice and read it about half way and never finished it. I will say that I liked it but it’s one of those books that is so layered and has so many favorite lines that it takes me awhile to go through it. I still have it on my bookshelf. Maybe I’ll start again …
Also, I like the book shot. I love photos like that.

I’m very impressed with how well Viv reads. Smart and beautiful she is.
Flat Stanley came to visit us when we lived in Singapore. He had some exciting adventures there too. I liked reading about his adventures in Belgium because I toured there a couple of years ago. I missed that castle though!

I’ve been getting copy edits back on my books. People sent the book with the edits. Of course, I feel blessed. And it’s pretty funny.
