I totally got my metaphors all tangled up there
I had a lunch meeting with an old high school buddy to discuss some potential projects and possible partnership that went really well yesterday. I did some bug fixing for Sageth.com and had some talks with my buddy, Porn Site Terry on porting some of his sites to various mobile CMS platforms. There are irons in the fire for sure, just a matter of seeing which one bears fruit… whoa, I totally got my metaphors all tangled up there…
One of the things I’ve been remiss to mention is the return of Bowie, my ex’s cat. Bowie is one of the nicest animals (let alone cats) that you will ever meet. She’s a little white furry mess of love…
Ziggy is really happy to have another kitty in the house to play with too, although Bowie doesn’t seem too interested in playing with this young fellow…

It took me a minute to figure out that was an orange in that photo even with the mixed metaphors. I thought you were making a pancake on a stick which, when you think about it, sounds pretty good. Better than blazing hot oranges anyway.

as for the guys peeing into old faithful, i found it interesting that the article clarified old faithful was not erupting at the time. if it had been these guys would have been read about in the darwin awards instead. sheesh.

That first picture is really cracking me up. I love when people mix metaphors. I actually have a list of some of the things my kids have messed up by accident because they honestly make me smile every time I think of them.

i can answer mamatulip – bowie was a bagel shop special one morning at a little restaurant in atlanta. there was some dude in the patio area with a box of kittens he had rescued from the basement of a home he was renovating. once i saw that she has one brown eye and one blue (just like david bowie) i had to have her. she’s the best cat in the universe.
